Pharmacies are all over the place. You find them in many malls, you find them in areas popular with tourists. You find them in some supermarkets too.

Boots, Watsons, P&F, Fascino and Siam Pharmacies are some I can think of right now. But there are many smaller private drug stores everywhere. You shouldn't have a problem finding a drug store. Your hotel front desk clerks can tell you some of the nearest to you.

No problem finding drug stores on Sukhumvit Road, Asoke and Nana area.

When you buy medicines check out the expiration date. Most of the medicines come with a data sheet that is in several languages.

Some restricted drugs can only be sold with a script from a Thai doctor. Just because you can buy some drugs over the counter that you can not buy without a prescription back home – you still may be restricted from bringing them back home!

Buy from places which have aircon. Thailand is a hot place and drugs suffer if stored too warm for too long. Beware – there are lots of fakes about. I would go to places like Boots, Watsons, pharmacy in Central Chidlom. Amarin Plaza as you walk in from the elevated walkway.

I always recommend, and use, Chulalongkorn University's Pharmacy, directly across Phayathai Road from MBK Center.

Their prices are lower than any we have found downtown. They are also quite reputable. It's part of the university's Faculty of Pharmacology.

I’ve tried Viagra and Cialis. I’m in my 50’s and not taking any other med. When i first tried Viagra, i took the whole pill and it was a big mistake. Don’t get me wrong, it worked great. Had a boner harder then steel and lasted a long time and could get 3 or 4 shots off without a problem. However, the headache started to set in about 3 hrs or so after taking the pill and the headache got worse after each passing hour. Had to take Excedrin a couple of times to remain sane. Once the headache sets in, the only thing i thought of banging was my head against the wall. The next time i cut the pill into quarters and even with a quarter, i still got headaches, so i stopped using Viagra.

A friend told me about Cialis and that it was same as Viagra but without the headaches. Tried it, 1 pill, 1/2 pill and down to 1/4 pills but still got headaches. Stopped using Cialis.

The only other side effect i had with Viagra and Cialis is flushing in the face. At times it’s so not i feel like i’m having a fever. No other side effects other then these.

I’m looking for something that does the job but without headaches. I’m ok with feeling flushed. I’ve not tried Kamagra, Levitra. Vardenafil or Stendra etc etc. I don’t know which i should get. Is it wishful thinking or is there a pill out there that will give me a full hard on boner without the headache?.

I get unrelenting headaches on Kamagra. To avoid the headaches I take an aspirin like an ibuprofen about an hour or so after taking the Kamagra. This pre-emptive strike, as it were, does the trick for me.

I tried the viagra from a steet vendor and the kamagra from a pharmacist during my last trip and the fake viagra worked better. Go figure.

I got Kamagra box of 50 for 800 off the street vendor top of Soi 7/1 and it worked fine for me. Also, black ant box of 10 for 200 – worked fine for me too.

Your worst side effect is going to be a heart attack. I cant believe people who will take prescription medicine without seeing their doctor, let alone buying it in Bangkok where it could be anything

50×4 sidegra ฿100, 100×4 ฿200 at charoen tonight. My first time, will be interesting for sure.

Also totally agree with Motley Fool. Hoping I’ll be safer buying from a pharmacy than a street vendor.

You realize that doctors (at least in the United States) prescribes Viagra without doing any exam. He might just ask you what type of erections you have or how/when you can get an erection to determine if Cialis or another alternative is better for you, but that’s it. Or you might be asked if you have prexisting conditions.

The only people who they will not prescribe it for are people with heart problems. And if you have heart problems you should be going to the doctor regularly anyway.

Anyone who is healthy and does not have medical issues shouldn’t have any issues with Viagra.

However, I think people should always be educated about what they are taking. The leaflet inside the Viagra gives you all the drug interactions and directions on how to take it. The people who take multiples per day or drinks heavily and/or mix it with other drugs are dumb.

Yes there is always a risk taking any medication and even if it is prescribed by a doctor there is still a risk as each person is different. However, for any modern drug to get into the market there has to be extensive safety testing which means fro the vast majority of people the risks are minimal. I have just looked at an over the counter cold medication that requires no doctors prescription to purchase. The list of possible side effects and warnings on the enclosed paperwork would worry many people but the drug company is just covering themselves.

I have only used these medications once when a mate gave me one to try. After being in BKK for 7 days I was starting to loose energy and it certainly did what it said on the tin. Side effect none.

Pharmacies, Bangkok (Viagra/Cialis/Kamagra)

Generic ‘viagra’ available next month

The Government Pharmaceutical Organisation (GPO) plans to produce an affordable, generic anti-impotence drug and ssays it will be available in the marketplace from Oct 15.
GPO chief Witit Artavatkun said on Wednesday that the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has given permission to the GPO to produce Silagra – a Viagra equivalent that contains generic sildenafil, the same drug that powers Viagra.

“This will help deal with counterfeit drugs,” Dr Witit said. “There are also many elderly people in the country, making this type of drug more popular, but it is less accessible because of its high price.”

The generic drug drug will come in tablet form in dosages of 50mg and 100mg. A 50mg tablet will be sold at 25 baht each and a 100mg tablet 45 baht, he said.

Viagra is currently priced about 200 baht a pill in the market, he added.

Competition for other generic “viagras”. They have quoted Viagra being available at 200 THB per pill, where can we get it at that price in Bangkok.

Searched high and low for Valium today but no where seemed to sell it except for the street vendors which im assuming will be fake! Any ideas people?

You can buy Valium over the counter. Hospitals charge you at least 3 times the price a pharmacy does. There is/was a very reliable pharmacy almost next to the Marriot Hotel on Sukhumvit.

One can get all sorts of medications from small pharmacies around Sukumvit & in Pataya, but what they sell are often fake.

Anyone know if those are offered over the counter in the Pharamacy around in Bangkok and if so, what are the average prices for those? I mean, pills are not exactly working out for me and need injections to do the deed for fun. So any help would be helpful for this. Thanks!

Why not pop into a couple of places & ask them.

Re: The Pharmacies, Bangkok

I would, just I would be spending a day in Bangkok, and rather be prepared for it to get it when I touch down, since I will be heading north to Laos and then China, hense a quick question for those items before I move on, plus to pick up a woman or two for the evening as well. Just I will be dropping in around 9pm and then disappear next day around 4pm.

Hense, that why i asked, since I rather check to see if it is available or I have to try and score some before I head to the airport to Thailand for next two weeks.
